Announcing Dr. Greg Orcutt

We have a new author at ebooKarma! His name is Dr. Greg Orcutt, and here is a little bit about him:



Dr. Greg Orcutt was born into a family of doctors, and chose the chiropractic healing profession to provide a much needed healing alternative to drugs and surgery. Dr. Orcutt has completed the rigours program of four years of pre-medical sciences at San Diego State University and completed the additional four year doctorate program at Palmer College of Chiropractic West.



Dr. Orcutt established his wellness clinic in 1998 specializing in family wellness and athletic care. He has had the good fortune to adjust celebrities, town officials, professional and Olympic Athletes. Dr. Orcutt has been the key note speaker for corporations, and organizations requesting topics on wellness, nutrition, mind-body science, ergonomics, and stress management.

If you haven't heard of it, Outskirts Press is a self publishing company. You pay them to publish your book in hard copy. Are they competition? Eh... kinda I guess. But, if you are wanting an actual hard copy of your book - you are not going to get that with ebooKarma (yet)... so go for it...

We are about ready to start marketing - and marketing hard! There have been TONS of behind the scenes stuff going on...

Yadda, yadda, yadda.

This really is a lot of fun, but the more we do, the more we realize we have yet to do.

I know - really short today. I just wanted to post an update.

Waiting...

Due to some unforeseen events, the past couple of weeks have been very slow when it comes to www.ebooKarma.com. That is okay though! I have been able to do some great market research.

While slow, the progress has been amazing. We will soon be adding a page called, "Make Money" that will show everybody exactly what they can do to make money from the site. It is truly an opportunity for everybody - not just writers!

Plus, we are in the process of creating a writing contest where the grand prize will be $500! There will be a winner in every category, and the grand prize winner will receive the money. The winner in each category will receive business cards that has their unique link on them so they can give them to people to go and buy their book! (Plus, of course, have the bragging rights!) More on this is definitely coming soon!

Also, we have toyed with this idea and it is a grand one! On www.ebooKarma.com, there is the option for people to review your book. The person with the most reviews each month will receive 80% of their commission instead of the great 50% that is normally given! This one is still in the works, we have to make sure the percentages all work out after affiliate money is paid out.
