Neighbors Go Proposal

Today, I am taking a proposal to a meet and greet that Neighbors Go is having. If you don't know, Neighbors Go is an insert that goes in the Dallas Morning News.

It is my intention to gain the privilege to have a weekly column in the Neighbors Go that focuses on unique marketing ideas for the small and home business out there! How does this fit into ebooKarma? Easy! Small and home businesses can write an ebook that will drive more business to them, and they can make a royalty commission at the same time!

Mesquite TX Chamber Breakfast Round-Up

Last Wednesday, I went to the Mesquite Texas Chamber of Commerce Round-Up. What a great time! I never knew there would be so many writers in a group of about 50 people.

I want to take this time to thank the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce and Waterford, who hosted the event. (If you are looking for a retirement community in Mesquite Texas, this is the place to go!) We had such a tasty breakfast and a great speaker.

If you haven't heard of it, Outskirts Press is a self publishing company. You pay them to publish your book in hard copy. Are they competition? Eh... kinda I guess. But, if you are wanting an actual hard copy of your book - you are not going to get that with ebooKarma (yet)... so go for it...
